The Buy Haywood project is are working to feature Haywood County tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers at various grocery stores in Western North Carolina. To be sure you are getting fresh, Haywood County produce, look for the blue and green “Haywood County NC Mountain Grown” sticker or logo. Please note that in some cases our products may not be clearly labeled at the locations listed above. Either way, we encourage you to support these companies, because they are supporting our efforts to provide high-quality products to community-minded consumers.
If your favorite local grocer isn’t yet offering Buy Haywood fruits and vegetables, please talk to your local store manager and let them know what you want. If these businesses know that locally grown products are important to their customers, they are much more likely to make the switch to local products!
